The Sports Performance Center is a 12,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose area located inside the AdventHealth Sport Park facility.  

YOUTH SPORTS PERFORMANCE

TRAINING PROGRAMS

YOUTH TRAINING (AGES 8-11)

This training program is designed to help youth athletes build a foundation for key movement patterns including sprinting, jumping, landing, throwing and catching. Sessions will include fundamental exercises and drills that provide an opportunity for each athlete to improve work habits, participate in friendly competition and develop self-discipline.

MIDDLE SCHOOL (AGES 12-14)

Build a strong athletic foundation with sports performance training tailored for middle school athletes, focusing on fundamental skills like coordination, balance, and strength. Prepare for future success by developing the basics in a fun and supportive environment.

HIGH SCHOOL (AGES 15-18)

Unlock your full athletic potential with specialized sports performance training designed to improve strength, speed, and agility for high school athletes. Elevate your game and gain a competitive edge with personalized coaching that prepares you for the next level.

Training programs are targeted to improve each athlete’s speed, strength, power and fitness by identifying movement deficiencies, tracking key athletic movement patterns through a series of athleticism tests and utilizing testing data to address each athlete’s needs as it translates to their sport(s) and position.

This training center is dedicated in helping athletes, of all ages, achieve their athletic goals in a safe and positive environment.

From foam plyo-boxes to Hawkins Dynamic Force Plate assessments, we’ve got the high-quality equipment and tools athletes need to train.

JOHNNY BECK

Johnny attended the University of Kansas on a football scholarship andstarted45 careergames, finishing his playing career in 2004. Johnny earned 4 straight Academic All-Big XII honors and was a two-time All-Big XII kicker, earning a selection to the Freshman All-American Team in 2001. During the 2005 season, heserved as an intern under the Director of Football Operations and as aSpecial Teams coaching assistant.Johnny graduated from KU, in 2006,with a B.S., in Sports Management and has been training athletes for the past 20 years.
