AdventHealth Sports Park Announces Two Epic Teen Events for August: Dodgeball Tournament with Team USA Coaches and After-Hours “Outpost After Dark”
AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk is thrilled to announce two dynamic events for local youth this August, offering a blend of competitive sports, exhilarating entertainment, and community giving. These events are designed to provide memorable experiences for middle and high school students across the Kansas City metro area.
The month kicks off with a High School Dodgeball Tournament on Saturday, August 16th, starting at 11:00 AM. This exclusive high school dodgeball tournament is set to be a highlight of the summer. High schoolers aged 14-18 are invited to form teams of six and compete for a championship grand prize valued at over $2,000.
Adding to the prestige, Team USA Dodgeball coaches will facilitate the entire event, offering unparalleled expertise and ensuring a top-tier competitive experience. Beyond the thrilling competition, the tournament will also host a back-to-school drive to benefit the Fox4LoveFund. Participants are encouraged to bring new school supplies, directly contributing to local children starting the academic year prepared and confident. Additional prizes will be awarded for the Best Dressed Team, Largest Student Section, and the School with the Most Donations, encouraging both spirit and generosity.
Later in August, AdventHealth Sports Park will open its doors for “Outpost After Dark” on Saturday, August 23rd, from 9:00 PM to midnight, an exclusive after-hours event for both middle and high school students. For just $20 per person (with valid school ID), attendees will receive a wristband granting unlimited access to a range of exciting activities, including Laser Tag, Bowling, Open Gym, and the thrilling Roll Glider. The fun doesn’t stop there, with additional options available for purchase like Arcade Games, Sports Simulators, Krazy Darts, and Esports, alongside a wide selection of favorite food and beverages to keep the energy high throughout the night.
