Bluhawk will be anchored by a 420,000 square foot Multi-Sport Complex which will focus on amateur and youth sports and tournaments, as well as other family and community-oriented entertainment and events.
The Multi-Sport Complex will be constructed in phases. The first phase, coming in Spring 2024, will include a NHL size ice rink, 4 basketball courts (convertible to 8 volleyball/pickleball courts), a 40,000 square foot turf field, locker rooms, e-sports center, family entertainment center, training area, sprinting track, café, sports medicine center, and more

“The Bluhawk development project will greatly enhance the quality of life in Overland Park and the surrounding communities and will attract visitors, recreation-seekers, and sports enthusiasts from across the region to Kansas,” Gov. Laura Kelly said in a statement.
