AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk to serve as training home for KC Power Volleyball 

Overland Park, KS (February 15, 2024) – AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk is excited to announce a multi-year partnership with KC Power Volleyball Club, a member of League One Volleyball (LOVB) to serve as their home for training beginning in the fall of 2024.    

KC Power Volleyball Club, directed by Danielle Stowell, is a USA Volleyball sanctioned club that will be entering its 27th year of existence when this partnership begins.  Hundreds of former KC Power alumni are now playing collegiately at various institutions across the country, as well as several playing professionally overseas.  KC Power is recognized throughout the national volleyball community as a club with great integrity and high-level coaches. 

KC Power will utilize AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk as their primary training facility while having access to the 16 courts for both practice and competition.  In addition to the court space, the club players will have the opportunity to utilize the 11,000 square-foot sports performance training area consisting of free weights, machines, and a turf space.

About AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk 

Advent Health Sports Park at Bluhawk is a multi-sport indoor complex that hosts different community events and travel sports. The venue will draw families from a super-regional trade area and will be comprised of a 1,500-seat ice rink, a 3,200 seat championship arena, multipurpose hardwood courts with retractable seating making way for 8 basketball courts (16 volleyball courts), approximately a 32,000 square-foot indoor multipurpose turf area, a mezzanine viewing area overlooking the arena and turf space, sports performance center, locker rooms, flex rooms, cafe with concessions, 16 bowling alleys, and a 30,000 square-foot family entertainment center.
